Andhra Pradesh give consideration to to scrap EAMCET

Andhra Pradesh Govt is seriously mulling over scrapping of EAMCET, directed for admission into professional colleges, from the year 2018.

Government of AP plans to review the matter with special committee before taking any decision in this regard. According to highly placed sources, the AP government is preparing to give admission into Engineering and Medicine on the basis of marks obtained in intermediate on merit basis.

For the meantime Human Resource Development Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. G Srinivas Rao told that AP government does not have any plan to scrap EAMCET; though according to concerned higher officials, government of Andhra Pradesh is keen to scrap EAMCET.
