Andhra CM orders CID examination into train derailment

Vijayawada: Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu ordered a CID inquiry into the train accident in Vizianagaram district which so far claimed over 40 lives and injuring numerous others.

The Chief Minister issued orders directing forensic teams to visit the accident spot after Railway officials did not rule out sabotage.

In the meantime, the Railway authorities expressed doubts abourt sabotage as the area where the Bhuvaneshwar-bound train derailed was Naxalite-infested area.

According to the sources,Naxalites might have involved in the incident as they wanted to prove their existence just before the Republic Day on January 26.
