Telangana partly clears Aarogyasri Healthcare Scheme dues

The Telangana state government has disbursed Rs 560 crore to private hospitals and nursing homes as part of the Aarogyasri Healthcare Scheme dues following which the latter have decided to call of the strike.

The Telangana Aarogyasri Hospitals Association and Telangana Super Speciality Hospitals Association have agreed to take in patients from Wednesday.

The amount due from the government to these hospitals is Rs 490 cores.
