Air India operations have been restored after technical glitch. Air India flights in India and some other parts of the world were affected this morning after its servers crashed.

Due to issues with its SITA servers, people were unable to check-in at airports causing disruptions in operations from 3.30 am until operations were restored at around 9 am.

Flights are likely to be delayed.

Several Air India flights were delayed at the IGI airport today due to a problem in the airline’s server. The server was down since 3 O’clock in the morning. Both domestic and international passengers have been stranded at the airport due to the delay in flights.

Nearly 23 Air India flights have been affected due to the malfunction in the airline’s SITA server. SITA technology is relied upon by nearly every passenger flight.

Several Twitter users took to social media to complain about delayed flights and chaos at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.
