Farmers from Uttarakhand are offering their support to the newly enacted agricultural laws
A delegation of farmers from Uttarakhand met Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar in New Delhi on Sunday and expressed their support for the three newly enacted agricultural laws.
The Union Agriculture Minister thanked the farmers for cooperating with the laws. Speaking to media persons, the Agriculture Minister said that the farmers understood the laws, expressed their views and supported it.
The meeting was attended by state agriculture and farmer welfare minister Kailash Chaudhary and Uttarakhand education minister Arvind Pandey.
This is the third group of farmers who have met with Mr. Tomar and supported agricultural laws. Earlier, a delegation of two farmers from Haryana met Mr. Tomar and expressed their support for the new agricultural laws.
