CM Trivendra expresses gratitude to PM Modi for hike in MSP for Kharif crops

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for making the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Kharif crops one a half times of their production cost.

Chief Minister said that this historic decision has been taken in the direction of doubling the income of the farmers. It is noteworthy that the MSP for Kharif 2018-19 crops has been announced by the Centre Government, giving benefits of 50 per cent to 96 per cent on the cost of production. Chief Minister has said that for doubling the income of the farmers in Uttarakhand by year 2022, serious efforts are being made by the state government, while making the work plans. Under the Pandit Deen Dyal Upadhyaya Kisan Kalyan Yojana, loans are being provided to farmers on mere 2 per cent interest. Work plan for Organic Herbal State has been approved. Milk vendors are also being given incentive money through milk federations.
