Modi to embark on 2-day Nepal visit on May 11

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a two day State visit to Nepal from May 11 at the invitation of his Nepalese counterpart K.P. Sharma Oli.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, PM Modi will be given ceremonial reception in Kathmandu on May 11.

Later he will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister of Nepal and discuss matters of mutual interest.

Both the Prime Ministers will jointly lay foundation stone of Arun-3 Hydro power project.

PM Modi will also call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun.

During his stay in Nepal Prime Minister Modi will also visit Janakpur and Muktinath.

He will attend civic receptions at Kathmandu and Janakpur hosted in his honour by Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City.
