5-year high Export growth for India

Export growth touches a five-year high of 27.6 per cent in March 2017 on account of better performance of petroleum and engineering sectors; Exports rise for a seventh straight month in March.

Export growth touched an over five-year high of almost 27.6 per cent in March on account of better performance of petroleum and engineering sector.

In continuation with the double digit growth exhibited during February 2017, exports during March 2017 have also shown a significant growth.

This is an indication of the robust growth of the Indian Economy an indication that the trend in growing export may continue and drive economic growth.
